I heard “Believe” during the most exciting moment on Gossip Girl and immediately fell in love with this song. “summer in a box” or “long summer drive” is how I could describe this album. While it takes a while for the songs to grow on you, Sam sings to perfection. Most would be disappointed in the drastic change from the dancey-mod-new-wave thing they had going on their first album, but I heart this album to death and it’s possibly my fave album of the year!
